Anyone got the carmate front bar ? I am after one of these but dont know how they look, does anyone have it
and can paste pics that would be appreciated:

yeh a few people have got it. there is mixed emotions about it. some say over board, some say nice and some say rice. hopefully people with them on there cars can post pics for you.

Depends on the type of mesh behind it imo. People putting silver mesh in pisses me off - It only works with black!

anyway,a mate of mine has a vrx kit (brought from carmate and it seems good.

almost everyone i have heard from has said the same thing, carmate are crap. personally when me and the missus got the JNstyle front for her TF from carmate there was no problem at all, showed up within 3 days, honestly wasn't packed for travel but wasn't damaged and fitment was fine.

well the one in that photo is the "JN style" the ones you posted the link to are the "GTR" style and the "JN2 style" you can use either of those bars as they are only from the headlights down.

If you use the JN bar (Like ARS55 said) it WILL look like ass.
There is a horrible light blue TJ on here with that bar on.....It is honest to god one of the worst things I have seen. Please do not do it. Lines dont match up and you have this random beak stopping 3/4's the way down the grille area.

black and silver is sweet, im going for that look on my car.. jn style from carmate and black mesh..i like the standard skirts and there going to be painted black...
do what you want i have heard mixed things on here mainly and from other sites.. im going with them ,$450 del i can fit and spray and a mate can fiberglass.. i wonder if they will do a group buy?

I had a JN 1 modded to be a JN 2 b4 the latter came out.
Not a bad bar but poor quality & needs a bit of work.
I also looked at the GTR style & it is the biggest piece of crap around, does not go close to fitting & poor quality.
I now have a Sinex & it is good quality & fits great.
Go with the Sinex & forget Carmate.

i got a jn2 style front bar i wanna sell if anyone is interested as i have a ralliart bar now.i never had a problem with it fitted it in one day in the frontyard no hassles,i think some bars you get from there are lemons and others are pretty good,

Interested but $$$ and in Perth as well.. :(
