Hey guys i've been reading this forum for only a little bit and decided to join up because as i've seen you all have an amazing idea of Magna's. Now i've recently bought a KR Magna 1993 around 6 months ago and i love it and i've decided to do all i can to make it look as good as possible. Now my ideas for this car are mostly exhaust/spoiler/bodykit, most things cosmetic but i was wondering if i could get your opinions on some minor/major things to do to my engine etc to increase it's performance and power. Im not a great car nut but i am very intrigued to become a Magna nut. So if there is anything you could suggest to me i would be greatly appreciative. Thankyou

p.s i live in South Australia and am looking for a good bodykit building store somewhere say Adelaide or so, so any ideas would be once again greatly appreciated.

For about $2000 You'll get a full exhaust from the headers back lol
Depends mate, how much do you have to spend?
Tell us and we can do the best we can to help ya.
Although without actually doing real things to the V6, you wont be going faster.
Welcome :D

you can get leather seats and trim for the rada

also custom made extractors

the motor does ok on its own but oil leaks and noisey tappets are problems

make sure the coolant is at the right percentage

and water pipes and all the water hoses are in good condition:cool:

the small hoses like to split

Hey guys ta for all the replies so far my KR Verada is gunmetal grey with a replaced 3.0L 12 Valve V6 with about 100k on it i think. I recently just got a new $600 exhaust (no idea what it is exactly but i'll find out) on to replace the hole i put in my other one but i'm probably looking at a good 5-10k on cosmetic looks including lights, kit, seats, interior etc etc. As far as i've read majority of people have 3000gt radiator hoses and such.

btw to Stuart i'm in Whyalla 3 hours outside Adelaide and your magna was what mostly inspired me to try and make something of it as it is pretty rare to see a good one done up and they are very nice cars.

AFAIK Im the only one with 3000GT radiator hoses as you actually need a 3000GT motor to begin with :P
$5-$10K Shall get you a sweet ride.
I would say Lower it, Slam it in 19"s, if the paint is shot, respray it, and do some work to the engine. I.e. Full ECU, Cams, headwork, exhaust. You'll probably scrape in for $10K with that alone :P
