Just wondering if anyone knows of a person prefer Melbourne who might be able to fix my Eclipse 6 stacker for my ralliart, currently has at least 3 CDs in it that it won't give back and worse won't play!!:rant:

is that the one that comes standard? if so, you can take it to mitsubishi - though you'll be paying a premium to get it fixed.

cheapest option would be to bin it and get a new one. no one likes working on cd / dvd players. And you can get some good prices around too. doesnt matter if it not a big brand such as eclipse, as long as you have a good amp and speakers the sound quality shouldnt differ

Yep it's orginal and I'm trying to keep the car orginal, will be detailing to orginal (incl all books mats etc...) then put it on blocks for a few years. Though I'll take it out for the Phillip Island 6 hour regularity trial in 2009, cause I wan't to see how it goes on race rubber and down the main straight, I got a stock Hyundai Excel Rally car to 190kph this year so I'd like to get to 200kph + next year. Any takers?? 250bucks for a weekend of track work on one of our fastest tracks..

I would have given you hand with this as I am an electronics engineer/hobbyist, but unfortunately I am in Brisbane right now.
