Gday guys, when i bought my car it came with 2 remotes for opening the car, but both were out of batteries and the buttons are very hard to push in. so just wondering what are my options for fixing them?

It doesnt bother me much putting a key in but i'm scratching my door way too much, trying to get my key in at night! LOL. Cheers. JM

Batteries are around $10 for 50 - 100 packs on Ebay & new remotes around $40 - $60.

With the TW, the remote is very hard to press and the range sucks ( compared to the 380 ), I suppose thats so they don't accidently flatten the batteries in a pocket/bag. New Batteries didn't help. WOFTAM

Yes just buy new ones, last quote i got was for $60 as mine dont work either. I opened one of mine and replaced the battery but apparently I screwed it doing so.

Place batteries in the remote can screw alot of them as the sold does not hold well. 40 from mitsu and you show be fine.

I have replaced batteries in both my remotes and in my dads (both of which are Verada's) so it is definitely possible to change the batteries!

But which remotes do you have exactly?

TH on have a different remote, as far as I know the TE/TF remotes are non-serviceable.

Now that is a really good example of LATERAL THINKING!

Not a practical suggestion but!
