Hi everyone

A few days I purchased a standard 1994 KS Verada ei as my run around car to keep my VR-X as the weekender. I have the standard brake package from my TJ in the shed and was wondering would the rotors and calipers adapt to the KS? I'm thinking no but i'm no mechanic either

Im from Adelaide and flew to Sydney to pick up and drove it home arriving Christmas Eve. The car didnt miss a beat the whole 1,500km trip. I was very impressed. To ruin everything tho I went to a car wash on Christmas day to degrease and wash down the engine bay as this was quite dirty. Now the car wont start caus I got the immobiliser wet I think.

Any suggestions??

didnt the KS come out with twin pot calipers stock?
if not then i would be chasing a set of these from a wrecker or something

Yep it should have the bigger stoppers, I can't really see a point of putting the other stoppers on?

Pretty sure the fronts will fit, but the rear wont without modification.

But as others have said i'm pretty sure the KS had better brakes than the standard TJ brakes?

They did, Twin pots VS TJ single pots.
Rotors may fit, calipers wont.

yeah nothing at all, just the hazard lights come on now all the time so Ive had to disconnect the battery, thats why I think its the immobiliser thats gotten wet and now stuffed. I did cover up the dizzy but only noticed the black alarm siren box when I had finished washing

Might have to get the immobiliser removed caus at the moment I cant use the car which sux

The front rotors are the same part number from the TR/S v6 models regardless if abs or not also the 4cyl TR Elite right through all 3rd gen except the the Ralliart and the AWD

NO the calipers will not swap. The second gen and third gen have a different bracket

my TS Magna had excellent brakes, I wouldn't swap them with the standard TJ ones unless there is a problem with them.
