I'm using fidanza ones and apparently they are the best, But aren't vernier cam gears just another word for adjustable cam gears? Luckily I got mine when the dollar was like 90c hehehe (From the US duh)

Tuffy is correct. Perhaps talk to Mr G again see if he has made any luck with keyways?

He wanted Dad to machine the keyways - hopefully I'd get a better rate!! lol. 6deg adj would make nice top end on NA but I'm dialling for boost.

Neg it is, anyways you shouldnt need CG's if your cams are set right....

Aint that right BUT if a certain place in QLD makes ya cams then you'll need all the cam gear adjustment ya can get lol

On standard cams? Or aftermarket cams? Been proven time and time again on standard cams to gain more power/torque, Well, on the DOHC's that is.

Been down that path, Rocket wont budge, a few US suppilers said if i purchase 150+ in one bulk lot we would get 10% off. I really dont think there is 150 people here that are willing to pony up 300 odd bucks imho.

Just for std Ralliart sticks, unless a contact of mine has something more tasty. As 'tame' as the ralliart sticks are, there are several proven machines running nice numbers under boost. Not wanting to blow the budget on cams now that forged rods are looking more likely each day.

Pity i didnt build up a 3.5 SC engine just to show all you doubters how good the factory rods (with decent bolts fitted) actually are, oh well maybe next time

ive also heard of people running the 6g74 in offroad buggies at nearly 500hp on standard rods, however i assume these engines get pulled down after each race. not something we want to do after a trip up the freeway
im also ASSUMING dave gets his lackies to pull his engine down at fairly regular intervals, im hoping i never have to see the inside of this engine again......... fingers crossed lol

In reply to MAD35L post, my old 244@wheels engine has been in a buggy for nearly 2 yrs now and has hardly laid a spanner on it and the damn thing gets revved to 7900rpm on a constant basis.
