Forget bunnings and those rubbish small shops

Go to an automotive paint shop

The Body Shop in Bayswater is the one and only place I get all of my supplies from paint to paper, these guys are panel beaters who specialise in custom paint work and they know thier stuff and are also more than happy to share information an tips.

Depending where you are though, just look up in the yellow pages automotive paint supplies and let your keyboard do the walking

Paint finish a bit dry?
Dont worry!
If you need the finish flat, cut the panel that has been painted back with 1500wet paper and rub any areas missed with grey wet scotch brite(clean water!).
Make sure you dont cut through to colour if the colour is COB(Clear Over Base)and leave no peal anywhere that is visible on the surface then re-apply clear with nice wet coats but not too heavy with at least 2-3 coats but i usually do 2 coats if the area thats being painted is gonna come off the gun with no dust or grit in the finish but if your worried about things like that,3 coats is best!
No more dryness or orange peel but if you wanna take the quick way out, chop back with 1500wet and buff!
