Thought I'd design some artwork for the Fuel Cap Door. Tell me what you think?
The black represents want every colour my/your car is. Printing on to vinyl sticker, sticker is see-though artwork would mostly be in white.

In my opinion any fuelcap art or picture looks rediculous.
Also my Mrs knows what this says & it's apparently not very nice.

I dunno about that, Cass's first tiger cap was awesome. The second one, not so much.

What do you mean not very nice? It should say exactly what the title on top of the images say (I’m not Japanese so I am not 100%).

What are you on about?

His kanji formation isn't the greatest but it's most certainly not offensive...

People, I am only answering the question in the original post as in,
What do you think about this fuel cap artwork?
I simply said that in MY OPINION ( nobody elses) which is what was asked for OPINIONS.
That I dont like any fuel cap artwork as I don't think it looks good on any car in general.
I also said that My Mrs said it was not very nice what it said.
I don't know what it says nor do I know if the desighner knows as some people that do this kind of thing on shirts & other stuff just make up something that looks good or copies something they don't know what it says.
Im not saying he did this all im saying is my OPINION that the guy asked for.
My Mrs is Chinnese so it may say something in her language that is not nice as she said or not as I don't know im Aussie.
I just gave an opinion as asked.
If people who reply would just give their OPINION on the ARTWORK as asked that would be good instead of knocking other peoples given right AN OPINION.

Dude take a chill pill.

Get her to explain what it says and type it out, I know what it says (read: I studied tertiary level Japanese last year) and it isn't offensive. I'm not calling your Mrs a liar, I'm just saying that the Kanji he's written there isn't offensive to Western society, use of the 鬼 character might be offensive to that culture because of its 'evil/demon' reference, but the rest is hardly what I'd consider bad.

Japanese Kanji alphabet is borrowed from Chinese script, the majority of characters retain their Chinese meanings.

The characters are Japanese, unsure of the meaning as I'm abit rusty and will have to look it up.
Chinese is more complex as each character has several meanings and there are also different variations to the language. Where as Japanese is the same spoken but certain characters have a different meaning depending on the sentence used.

I've really got to start getting back into it, hoping to go to Japan in the next couple of years.

People, I don't mean to be angry I only gave my opinion.
I see many threads that go off beat with people hijacking it to tell other repliers there full of crap.
This is going that way now partly because of me so this is my last reply.
I did ask her several times to tell me & she just looked at me with a kind of terrified wierd look & said no way I will repeat that thing.
So I don't know what it says.
End of discussion.

I had an airbrushed Mitsubishi logo on mine, Looked alright.
This will look alright too, just ditch the outline and go with just the characters

Right.

Well, I can vouch for the (somewhat) accuracy of the OP's descriptions of the characters he's got on those designs.
