hey guys

i was wondering how much it would cost to replace the cv's and or driveshafts on a 1990tp magna sedan.
it has a clicking noise when turning and vibrates badly when going at 80kms or faster. its only the right hand side.
would it be better to replace them both or just the side thats affected?

any help would be good

cheers

I got mine done at the start of last year with recond cvs and a 2yr warrantee for about $160 IIRC. Cant remember where I got it done, it was just of Mueller rd between mueller and north east roads... I think haha, I had a look for my reciept and can't find it haha, so cant tell you exactly where, or how much, but its not heaps.

Got mine of ebay for about 165 complete did the job in about 30 min per side. They will clear everything only have to undo steering tie bars from there ends.

Hey, if you have not got them done yet, give me a yelp on email and I may be able to help. My brother has been in driveshaft business for over 10 years and knows what he is on about. I need to confirm with him, but I reckon you'll be looking at $120 fitted if its only RHS. Double it for two sides.
The symptoms are exactly the same as my daughters TP which he did last weekend. I have also had my other daughters TN done as well as my TS, and all are doing very well.
Cheers :)
