Does anyone know what a new (Or reconditioned) BEM would cost for a 2000 TJ Magna VRX? I am still having this immob shutdown issue and there just isn't anyone in Toowoomba who can help me (And I won't go to the local Mitsu dealer due to issues that myself and others have had with them) so if I can get a new BEM, I can put it in myself and hopefully piss this issue off once and for all. I am so tired of it!
EDIT: And it does appear to be the BEM and not the wiring as everything tried with it has not worked for any longer then a few weeks.
I'm sure someone will correct me on this but aren't the BEM, ECU, Ignition barrel all security matched to your keys? So if you replace one you have to replace them all?

heh I hope not. That might break my heart. Couldn't it be programmed to work with the existing systems?

Or if your really keen open it up and check for dry joints that what it sounds like.Enjoy
I thought it was the BEM alone that controlled the key locks?
ie. Replace the BEM, you also need to recode all the key locks.
