Hi,

I've got a small chunk missing from the drivers door seal on the centre pillar.

Is there a repair scheme available for this? I was going to fill it with black silastic but as it is where the door glass goes up and down it maybe to "grippy" for it.

I would prob look at replacing seal rather repair it. Like you said it's got a chunk missing so will be a big repair. Also as you said it's where window is so will be hard to get a good seal. At 100km/h you will learn about it.:-) price a new one through Mits and if that's too much ring a few wreckers for a price. Aslong as it's not damaged a used one will be fine.

Ta for the reply.

I have read another post here that said the seal is not glued on. Just a wrap around fit with a few clips.

I'm never keen on second hand rubber parts so I will see what mitsu will quote.

It looks like someone tried to use a coat hanger to get in and it gouged a groove in the seal.
