i wouldn't have a clue... but i think you'd find most factory SS Commodores are actually louder than the limit! (and they're damn quiet!) even just replacing the rear muffler with a cannon will put it waaay over

not too sure about ur state but i think vic is 90db at 1m distance from the tip at 4000 rpm

only know that because i got done on my old car ! :shock:

any thing 90 or ova or under 90 that runs unleaded and cat has to be 90 db and it is 4000 rpm for 4cy 3000 for 6 and 2500 for v8's that is in sa mm hence my magna is some were near the 140 db mark

that only 1200rpm before redline! i think that's a bit too high!

i know vic is 90db @ 1 m from the tip and on a 45 deg angle!

the other thing that gets most people caught is when they back off!
i know a lot of cars do a bit above 90db but when they back off, readings go beyond 100db!

Apparently not. Was tested in a skyline last week and didnt pass, told us to rev it to 4800. I think its different for different cars. We got 103 or 107 db, so we didnt pass. Not happy.
