while filling my boot with dynomat i was kinda looking around and the thought hit me, are there any electric aerials that would fit a TF? might be a cool little install. then again, i rarely ever listen to the radio... but still.
anyone have any insite on the matter?

I got my aerial replaced a few months back as it stopped going all the way up, got a genuine one for $88 trade price through my panel beater.
All the power antennas you see on higher model 3rd gen's (Magna + Verada) will fit your TF, you'll just need to run the power wires.

what does the wiring entail? just the + from the stereo and a ground?

12v positive, relay wire from the headunit and an earth.

grabbing a TL antennar would be a good option too ;)
anyone have a clue of S1 TJ VRX's had them? i havent even bothered looking since i got it, now im suddenly curious :P
I did my electric antenna installation myself - It's quite easy.
Mine was:
Red = +12v
Blue = HU Trigger
Black = Ground
It was a generic antenna I picked up from autobarn for $70 and hasnt let me down since.

it does look like it could be, then again the thing in the boot could be for something else.

If there arent 4 wires in total coming out of it (Power, Remote, Ground, Antenna) - It's not electric.
