I got back to my car today at work and took off my thermal windscreen shade thing (first time I've used it this summer, twas gettin a bit warm), packed it away, started the car, selected reverse, looked in the mirror...and...wait...theres no mirror. There it is in my passenger seat, happily providing the reflection back for my sexy face.

All I can think is that the reflective shade, being close to the glass, was giving the glass more heat from the reflected sun, thus causing the adhesive to fail.

Has any1 else had this happen to them?

A bit of automotive trim tape will get it back up there, though its just kinda...weird.
