is it possible to have the car start on the push of the second unlock button on the standard remote? i have a th wagon and i think it would be really cool and unique if i could unlock all doors on the first push and start the car on the second push of my remote. has anyone done something similar to this? i tried searching but couldn't really find the result/answer i was looking for.

Will need to be aftermarket unless you know just about everything to do with electronics to somehow change what the key buttons operate, remote start comes on most aftermarket alarms these days, just get one of those

You are illegal..:P What is legal these days..
I know you can get aftermaket alarms that do it. you need to put the key in the ignition to drive the car. If you move it out of park without key in igition i know it shuts down.
Its for cars that need to be warmed up before driving. Its for cold countrys.:) Ice and snow Conditions

ohh snap!!!
my mate has it on his riceline, its good for warming it up a bit, but so is driving it :P
I reckon intergrating it into the stock remote would be a pain in the ass

Yeah it would be.. I wanna intergrate into stock remote a way to shut roof and put windows up. but not everytime i lock it. only when i want it too. That will be the hard part. Its easy to go up when u lock car.

Cant be that hard can it ? Have 2 alarms installed. One for your standard and the 2nd as your remote starter. Instead of going to the horn/lights whatever, you could rig it up to the ignition instead ( obviously you want some electronics in between to control it properly )

pfft cheap as just get an aftermarket alarm with it as a feature. Replaces the factory alarm.
I wouldn't have it in a manual without a switch to the ignition to ensure its in neutral.
Me n dad had to pull a mates clubby off a parking log (think beach) as his mrs used the remote start when it was in gear. It had been converted to manual.

i've thought a little about doing this with the remote boot release..
but you'd have to click it twice.. and i'm not sure how long it actually 'activates' it for if it's just a half second on/off..
a multi meter/test light should give you an idea anyway..
this would just be intercepting the power source, using a 4 post relay, connect the 12v signal that actuvates the boost release as the signal to a relay, and the other to the battery and pull wire for the starter, ground it.. and give it a go..
but yes.. most decent alarms have an 'aux' even 2.. most are used for things like 'auto windows up' or remote boot releases etc.. but having them on the starter pull wire like i mentioned above is very very common..

Mate, that is a remote crank, would be like a cd in your deck to make bov sounds
You also need to turn on the ignition WITH THE KEY in it to satisfy the BEM????????
So ok, you grab a key head and glue it to the underside of the dash inside the removed pick up, you sill need to turn on the ignition, the relay will not do this once the button is released lol

pretty sure that the chip from inside the key gets put into the barrel itself
so the car thinks the keys in the ignition hence starting the car
car still remains lock as there seperate buttons on the remote
