I just picked this up from Fleabay, I know the amp is 4 x 50 watt, but I have no idea what the sub is.
I am just starting out and this will be the car sub I own. If the amp is too small I can use it to run the 6x9's and splits I have now. And look at the Sub later. Anyone know their gear really well

Thanks in advance.
Ideally I want run the splits and sub off the amp, but if it ain't got enough juice, I got to spend more moolah.
I already have a 4GA kit too. Just some speaker wire is all thats needed.

$152.50 was the price fro a 100% positive ebayer, bit risky i know.

TS-W306C

or
TS-W306D2

or
TS-W306D4

Pioneer originally released the 306 as a single voice coil 4ohm sub, but later released dual 4 and dual 2 ohm models. they are visually the same from the front so you will need to pull it out of the box to find out which model you have.

The TS-W306C (Single 4ohm voice coil) is rated at 300wrms

Will it do the Splits (Jaycar 60watt) and the sub?, I don't want it loud, I just want presence.

mmmmm, might run a boston 2 x 50 for the fronts, and leave this for the subs. I dont want to put a 100watt amp behend 60 watt speakers. I aint going to buy another big amp when a smaller one will do. Perhaps I should've asked for opinions.:doubt:

use that amp on the front and rear speakers, then get a mono to run the sub

Cheers Ford Fella, Can I split the Power off that 4GA wiring kit, or will the 4GA best suit a mono, then run another power lead for the 4 x 50.
Looks like I need to get another set of RCA's off you then..lol... I'll get the rest of the hardware after I see what comes with amp, there is some wiring with it.

My missus is gonna go nuts when she sees me pulling the seats out.......

run 4ga from the battery to under the rear seat, put in a distro block there and run 2x 8ga out. 1 to each amp

That amp would be far from ideal for that sub. Regardless of model the sub will be rated between 300-400w RMS, and the amp bridged is only going to give out 150w RMS or so. What you should do with that is use the 4x50 4channel amp you have for your speakers, and get a mono for the sub. Autobarn have a Clarion mono on sale atm for I think $199 which puts out 300w RMS @ 4ohm and 500w RMS @ 2ohm, that'd be quite suitable for a 306c sub.

Your Point is...................

So I get a sub, plus the box, plus the amp and some wiring. I wasn't ripped off at least.
If it proves to be that sub.
