Springs are in - and they are sick!!!!
But now it is low!!! So low that when i went to put the car back on the ground after i changed the front springs - i couldnt get the trolley jack out - didnt have enough clearance - i used to hve about 5cm's of clearance to get the jack under - not anymore!!!
Oh well - it dropped instantly at the front - but the rears need a little longer to settler properly - Blake was there taking pictures of me bustin a gut to try and gets bolts undone and a tech article will be written soon - let me say though - the front is much easier than the rear!!!
Any queries let me know - i went superlow kings front and low kings rear!!
Excellent ride height - has reduced body roll by about 70% and front end lift (like when you plant it ) by about 80-85% - definitely a great change!!]

mofo?? not a nice way to talk to a moderator mate!! j/k!!
haha - Blake was there with his digi cam and pictures are coming - but i will need to wait till the cruise this weekend to get picks to show how much it has dropped!!
But until then - Blake has all the picks - get onto him!!
haha- as for changing the shocks - no - not yet - the factory shocks are still good and seem to handle it fine - and other ppl have the factory shocks and they are fine as well - the only reason you would have to change your shocks at the same time is if you go superlow - cos you shocks will have hit the bumstops if u do - and i didnt feel like going that low - and i really wouldnt like to be cutting the bump stops either!!! but - all for themselves - when i get some more cash up one day i will be doing stabilizer bars and bilstein schock - but at the moment it is fine just changing the springs

you will see me covered in sh!t and I had only done one!!!
but let me tell u - that inside of the car and bits and pieces should look very cool - and you can see the height difference of the uncompressed springs - and where all the bolts for the rear supsension unit is - but unfortunately - blake had to run off to his girl - so couldn't get any front jobby pics!! one day i will pull it apart for photos!!

funny that... it took me ages to do the fronts (aprrox 30min each) and the backs were done in no time... (5-10min each).. i also had handy a whole enthusiasts tool shed so i wasnt short of gadgets to help me :D
was fun learning it all though!
And Booya, how is the cut springs going... did you loose quality of ride or anything like that... i've heard some horror stories from cut springs!!

oviously a bit stiffer  but the overall 'quality' has gotten better in my opition! the handling is a lot better; and precise.
