Then i learnt that the mazda wheels on it werent quite fitting flush so i had to take them off, put some elante wheels on it and some AH Edition striping (AH after, me! hehe) and now its (been registered for a couple months)being driven around by my girlfriend, up to 109kms now. (im working on my current project which is a ba xr6 turbo)

Another first gen restored- Looks great mate, a real transformation from damaged wreck to a show-worthy piece, you would think it rolled off Tonsley Park just yesterday. Well done. :)

Oooh Looking very good mate :) Love what you do to the 1st gens haha. you get them looking really great.
Just wondering, do you have any spare sets of rims that would fit a TP? I am after something that is non-standard looking... or if you know a car that the rims will fit from? that would be greatly appreciated?
I could swap for my elite wheels or I have a set of 4 steelies too, 2 of which have very good tyres on them still + $ if you want, depending how much?
thanks,
-Matt.

Great job on the resurrection! Low Km gen 1s are hard to find and are definitely worthy of the effort - they are getting scarce on the road. The average wally drives them into the ground and then dumps them.

thats very true, soon they will be a rarity :)
it can be easily proven by comparing how many first gens there are at places like upullit compared to other cars. Its not exactly a bad hings, at least parts are easy and cheap to come by for those that care about ther 1gs :)
