Its fine as it is, just dont, get anyone bar Tweakit touch the tune.

Edit: take it to tweakit and they can tidy up the AFR's and get some more grunt from it but will still have the sprintex safeguard

Who the hell said dont tune it?
Yes get it tuned. It will give optimum performance across the board

i chose not to tune because minimul gains meant higher risk of blowing the engine. my plan was for the full rebuild this month, so a retune wasnt needed anyway.

best bet would search members threads who have the sprintex like wookie, chisolm, magna00 and mohit look at who has done what, and come to your own conclusions. at the end of the day its your car (once you pick it up) lol

what he means by tune is actually RETUNE, car comes with a standard tune, but some modify this for more power

Tune it with a sensible tune whilst retaining the Sprintex temperature retardation safeguard as mentioned.
You won't regret it mate.

Only have Tweakit touch the tune though, noone else, ive done 20k give or take on the retune with no issues

Thats what I thought :P
I would invest in a good tune. If its tuned right you should have no problems.

a proper tune to suit the individual car will be alot healthier for the car than a one size fits all attempt.

If your tuner know what he's doing he'll be fine, and your average software should have timing retardation just like the sprintex piggyback does.

while I didn't have any problems with my re-tune until I took it to the track, I would heed what others are saying and take to someone who has experience in tuning the blowers (i.e. Tweakit). they can play with the fuel mix to get a few more kw's and keep the timing and ignition tuning that Sprintex have settled on.

it might be a bit expensive up front, but no where near as expensive as a rebuild.

good luck with it.
