The locks *should* be interchangable, I know the boot-lids are. If not you will have to get the lock recoded. As for price... Call mitsu and find out their value, pay a maximum of half of the RRP.

If you get a full set and install factory you lose your passenger side lock which I don't really see as an issue (a lot of people use 2 drivers sides, so maybe 2 locks are required?).

TL door handles don't have a passenger side lock, conversion people buy 2 drivers side ones and flip one upside down.

TL dont have a key hole.. So all you do is remove lock from handle and dont put it back in the TL handle. Just inplug it. All still works fine..:)

thats why i didn't get them.. some new parts through mitsu are cheap.. others.... are questionable...

i'd rather get some normal ones, plastic weld them, fill/ shape (might just need shaping after filling with plastic), prime and paint them to look like them..

just bought a set of TL handles from eddywreckers in SA, it was $25 per handle plus $10 postage, but i need to get them painted

just for interested people i got quoted $97 + gst per handle from mitsubishi and that was to the colour of your choice
so sourcing them from the wreckers will save me about half the brand new price

If you're getting them painted, any particular reason you didn't just get your originals painted?

TL & KH = different handles

TL handles are smooth and dont have the chrome strip and arent plastic
