Hi,

It was time to upgrade my TJ.. Miss that thing!!

BUT... I picked up a 380 last week.. So far its awesome..

Im not really sure what spec it is but im pretty sure its a series 1..

Im not planning to go too overboard with it. Im thinking just getting a set of 19" wheels, lower it and dark tint...

Down the track i might upgrade to VRX rear and front lights.. and might get that top mount stabiliser bar ive seen talked about on on the forum for like $20??? Is that still available? Also anyone got any ideas for wheels? I dont mind going second hand and it would be handy to trade my factory 16".. Im kinda after a multi spoke wheel like the warwick premium fin.. Ive added pics in below..

yeah its an 05/06 - no traction control but it does have fog lights, rear lip spoiler, reversing sensors and the blue tooth hands free thingy..

Ill have to go get one of them marsbars then, cant believe there only 20 bucks!! awesome.. :cool:

Hey... you might have a Series 1 Limited Edition there (built on the Base Model). The extras you mentioned are identical to mine (same grille & rims too) and that's what I have. You should have a Limited Edition badge under the 380 badge. Series 1 base model has no model identification badge. If so, yours would have to be a 05-06 Series 1 'cos in Series 2 they replaced both the base model with ES, and Limited Edition with the (even better) Platinum Edition.
If all nods so far, its great to finally have another LE 380 here!
Personally I think that Fin wheel would be a bastard to clean, but if that doesn't bother you it is otherwise a good match for your car color.
Lots of simple cheapish mods to help you get more power and enjoyment from your car.

thanks.. I havent used the reversing sensors that much yet.. but i love the bluetooth thing.. makes it so much easier..

The interior is pretty standard.. cloth seats etc.. It doesnt have that fancy LCD in the middle (spewin about that) :doubt:

The stereo is the one that slots in to the hole in the dash (not the built in one).. But i kinda prefer that anyway cause if i ever want to upgrade i can just pull it out.. Is yours the same?

I got the LCD stezza but if I ever upgrade i'm sure I could grab a fascia from your model. The Bluetooth thingy is a real bonus :) I got the same wheels as yours also. See profile pic for stezza

GT owners wouldn't give up their sexy display to do this, but all we have there is a scungy clock, and before you ask, I tried installing the better display but I had to replace the entire dash loom to do it. So no Go.

Your stereo system would be the same as mine, single disc (but MP3 so who cares) - but not the same as Fantaysia's who would have the 6 stacker with fancy screen up top, which I believe just displays time and sound system info like our single disc head unit does (but more colorfully)... but the one thing I do miss is the temperature display which I do not have.

That temp thing isnt always on the money though ... if you crank the aircond up the temp goes down etc ....

One thing I though about was getting the upgraded stereo from the US Galant. I found one once for $400AU. Aparently their display lcd thingy has a calendar and a compass! The compass would prolly be an ecu thing but the Rockford Fosgate stereo would surely be better than the stock ??

Thanks man .... my interior is not that white anymore lol I've been camping a couple of times etc ... its a nice shade of beige brown - also partly thanks to Paceway Mitsubishi .. everytime they service the cars it comes out with grease marks all over the leather and seats :( i give up telling them

Yeah? Wow that does suck (kinda... sorry 6 stack people). Personally I don't like all the extra big round knobs. The basic (aka poverty pack) stereo delete those knobs and the double-din head unit can be seen within a clear square outline.

Yeah mine does too!

You can change the setting between track # to track name.

You just go to the audio only display and then press DISP (I THINK)
