the other day i noticed my right rear break light was out, so i changed both bulbs and now neither of them work. the tail lights work just not the break lights, the center rear window lights still works if that helps.

If the centre light still works, then your brake lights wiring is fine as they all run off the same wire, AFAIK. Did you get the correct globes? ie, dual filament, I think they're called?

Put the old (working), left one back in & see if it works. Put in the right side too & see if it works. If it does, you've got incorrect globes.

Silly question, but did you replace them with the bulbs with 2 filaments each? theres one filament of brakes and one for tail lights.
