So my beloved wife always ends up smudging the windows and worse, the black ruffle trim and top of the doors, with SUNBLOCK...

....so....whats a good ,safe way to remove it from the trim and windows...noting ,that the windows are tinted as well.......

thanks

My suggestion: Wax and Grease Remover, and a damp micro fibre cloth. Light, one direction wipes, do not use circular motions. Then one wipe over with a clean and dry mirco fibre cloth. Invest in hand cuffs for the wife during summer outings to stop re-occurrence.

wouldnt use grease and wax remover on tint. i only ever use merguires glass cleaner. never use windex either. should clean it off the windows fine. as for the door trims.. spray n wipe or something should work fine

yeah meguiars or armorall on the windows, and for the trim i recomend armorall trim care i think its called, its a foam (hair mousse style stuff) if that doesnt work, white spirits should be fine on trims (confirm this first, i dont want to be responsible for it if it ****s, i used it on my seat though)

EDIT: Oh and stop putting sunscreen on in the car :P

thats what i was gonna suggest....piss off all these amourall and meguirs stuff

Some lukewarm water and a soft silk/cotton cloth will do fine.

I'm sure this advice comes with a disclaimer...

people need to understand that tint is a very easily damaged surface. dont go recommending things to clean it with unless you know for sure it wont do any harm.

Tint? Dunno - but I need to know that too!

Trim? Huggies (bottom) wipes. They work great!

I use Mr Sheen on tints..... basically anything on trims... vinyl or cloth....warm soapy water does the trick nicely.....
