I know its a small insignificant issue but im sick of crappy windscreen shades that dont fit right.

Does anyone know if you can get these things for specific cars, or does mitsu sell them? that may be better.

You mean the plastic back ones that some veradas have at the top of the screen? or the louvres type?

Nah Im pretty sure he means the metallic ones you put in the front window when you park.

there are rear window ones too? i would invest in this. my car gets real hot, being black, and i do nightshifts so its parked on the street during the heat of the day before i wake up.

just an FYI, I got one of those more rigid, folding metallic windscreen shades from Autobahn for the Commodore, fits the TH perfectly.

Have you considered a windscreen shade that fits outside, and uses tabs that you close your front doors over to secure it. If you have a windscreen mounted gps, it saves you having to remove it and these can cover your entire windscreen and the wipers. I checked Supercheap etc and could not find any but there are some on ebay going for about $20 posted.

i bought a "bullseye" windscreen shade thing when i had my other car. didn't fit right. now that i've got my magna, it fits perfectly.

bought it from either autobarn or supercheap.

I've got a Jim Bean logoed one for large cars. It seams to fit nicely. I also have a car cover which only covers the top section, that is, all windows and the roof. Its held down by the wipers and the boot and hooks onto the mirrors. Its made from the same material as those used on hazchem suits. The shiny silver ones. Only one place in Adelaide sells them, an auto parts shop on The Parade, Norwood near the cinemas. I'll see what the brand is when I get home tonight and post it up.

You call buy some electrostatic 5% metallic tint - It is removal tint that just "sticks" to the windscreen via static electricity, being metallic it will block most of the heat...

I actually got a Barefoot Radler(new beer recently released last year or 2 years ago for those who doesn't know what it is) and it fit perfectly on my windscreen. The mirror unfortunately gets in the way :disgusted

Got mine from Supercrap also, its the folding foil type, but it comes in two parts, there is the regular main part and then you get another bit the same width but about half the height as the first part and you use velco to attach them together, its designed for large windscreens (ie tall). To be honest I haven't used it yet as I am parking in carport at the moment, but hopefully it will be ok.

thats the one I use for the TH and the VZ wagon. It isn't bogan if you have the shiny stuff facing out, right?? :bowrofl:
