Had my 75K service today.
Of note was at the top of the windscreen on the drivers and passenger sides were two runs of windscreen adhesive that leaked out from under the windscreen rubber. This has developed over the last six months but I only decided to do something at this service.
Service said they'd never seen it before and the windscreen will have to come out. Since the windscreen may be broken and they won't cover it I'll get a new one (it needs replacing due hwy sandblasting).
I'll post a pix when it leaks out enough to see in the next week or two.

Knotched,
I've been cleaning this black gunk of the upper passengers side for months so it looks like I have the same issue. I don't have a windscreen cover on my current year's insurance so I will have to wait for the 75K service to get this looked at. Hopefully nothing bad happens before that. 60K will be in March when I get back from holidays overseas. I'll wait to hear your report. Cheers...

I had mine replaced in November due to a crack, as it was, it was a replacement of an aftermarket screen, now back to Mits Glass.. So I obviously haven't had the same problem.

OK, I keep looking at it to see whether it is still doing it, but since they cleaned it off a week or so back it hasn't returned.
Soon as it does, I'll post a pic.

I have the name of a guy who works for O'brien glass, I 110% recommend this this bloke, he was so thorough and careful, works on the south side though.....

Got my windscreen replaced last week.
Once they cleaned it up it never leaked again but the seal was very sticky and weepy.
The replacement job was pretty average with some glass dust and splinters still on the dash and a small scratch down to the metal on the left guard.
ah well **** happens.
the new windscreen has some distortion on the passenger side as well

Beaware that O'Brien glass is from China. It is a softer Glass!
