Does the power steering pump and starter motor off a 2nd gen TR/TS 6G72 V6 fit the 3rd gen TE-TW 6G74 V6 3.5 litre motor?

I wouldn't think so. Mitsu make many small changes as they refine engine design. But there is only one way to find out - unless someone has actually gone through the process. Wait and see if you get any further responses.

Well I visited the Bosch website to check their product listing and strangely enough the start motor is the same part number "BXM135"

Although TR manual V6 uses a different one (Which I dunno still hasnt effected me as I use an auto one and cranks just fine!)

04.93 - 02.94 TR 6G72 used a BXM135 (AG?) or a BXM134 (GS?)
03.94 - 02.97 TS 6G72 used a BXM006 (WW?)
03.94 - 09.96 KS 6G72 used a BXM134 (GS?)
04.96 - 05.97 TE 6G72 used a BXM135
10.96 - 05.97 KE 6G72 used a BXM004 (AG?)
10.96 - 05.97 KE 6G74 used a BXM135 (AG? and ETW?)

The meaning of letters in brackets are not explained in catalogue glossary/guide

The starter motor BXM135 was used TE,TF,TH,TJ for 6G72 and 6G74 with TJ II, TL and TW 6G74 listed but no part number specified. The BOSCH catalogue is a 2007 one so dont know why nothing listed for post TJ II.

It appears the same alternator BMX1348 is used all the way through TE - TW on both 4G64, 6G72 and 6G74 whereas the TR/KR & TS/KS used a BXM1233A (4G54) or BXM1236A (6G72)

I haven't even started looking at P/S pumps yet.

they are the same part just from memory the pulleys on the end are slightly different.
