HI all. Wondering if anyone could take some pics of the mounting position of a spoiler on the inside and outside of the boot. I picked up a spoiler a while ago and have the proper mounting kit from Mitsu for it, but need to know exactly where to drill etc. It is going onto a TF magna. I am particularly interested on inside boot shots, so that I can see where to drill in regards to cross members on the boot etc. Thanks in advance!:)
Cheers.

I'll take some pics of mine shortly for ya, replaced my advance spoiler with a VRX and it's mounted to the rear more due to the boot pressing and not being able to get a bolt in there properly. Might get some of the gf's TL also as she has the same spoiler on hers.

wow thats alot closer to the edge than i thought, good to kno, because youve replaced it from the advance spoiler, is that the exact spot that it would sit on the original VRX's?

Not too sure, gf's TL is in a very similar spot, other VRX's I've seen are a bit further forward, panel beater seems to think the VRXs may have had an extra hole drilled in the boot pressing, I kinda like it that far back, just have to remember that it's pretty much in line with the bumper when reversing though. Advance spoiler sat a bit further forward:

Yeah that does sit a fair way back doesn't it. Thanks for those pics. Any chance sometime of a shot of it with the whole car in view?

Let me know if you want a side on shot and I'll take one tomorrow when I wash it.

Nice cars! Yeah side of the two would be great. Can compare them then. And if your gf's had the spoiler standard, would be good to compare the inside boot shot of hers too. Only when you have time though! Thanks.
Cheers.

TL boot underside: Beats me where the other mounting bolt is:

The spoiler actually sits a bit further forward on the TL compared to my TJ:

its too far back, see the 4th pic of the inside bolt it should be centered on that flat bit. the spoiler should sit around 2.5cm in from the edge.
That's true, but then we ran into probs trying to mount the front of it as would mean trying to mount the bolt in the "bulge" near the rubber stopper etc etc

Would anyone with a factory fitted VRX spoiler be able to post a photo of the internal fixing points?
