no i cant. the rattle is only audible when im driving REALLY slowly. like speedo not registering slow. ive heard that is a common problem with magnas tho

Also engine pipes, there is a splitter where the front and rear bank meet, these are only spot welded internally on one side and often fracture and come lose

Initially is a rare thing to hear but as it wears it will come louder and louder until such a time as it is embarrassing

Sounds very similar to the problem I had with my TL, the sound drove me mad. It seemed to be the cat, and it was, but the damage to the cat was caused by that piece of metal that came off.

Yep,I swore black and blue to the exhaust bloke that this flap had come loose as i could hear a rattle in the cat when i was under the car and gave it a belt with my hand but he wouldnt hear of it,So i told him to take the cat off and have alook, low and behold the flap was lodged in the mouth of the converter,he opologised!,but even with a fully functioning and tight exhaust, i find magnas to have a "metallic) sound under throttle either way,ill live with it as i have new exhaust and it still exists!
