Hey people :)

I noticed that alot of you guys have painted the inside of ur cars and I just wondering how to paint mine like you guys?
Do you need to do any sanding or cleaning of the surface?
What sort of paint will i need?
It would be really great if someone could give me a list of stuff i would need and also some steps to follow :D

Thanks in advanced :)

tamiya PS-XX spray paint. Most hobby shops should sell it. Only preparation needed is cleaning to make sure all grease is removed and drying with a lint free cloth to make sure theres no dust left. Other than that just paint and the finish is great

Metho works fine. I used White Knight squirts for the red bit on the centre of my dash.

If you're using enamel, first use a plastic primer otherwise it will peel off. One effect I saw which was very good, is to use a low grit sandpaper such as 500, and drag it horizontally across the plastic, maybe even do some random streaks with 250 grit. Spraypaint it black or silver and it resembles brushed steel.

In one of my Hot4's a guy has a Toyota echo and he has had it sanded back with real fine paper then like buffed it real smooth, painted it and it looks like fibre glass or plastic. If that fancys you I can look for the artical and give you the contact no. of the people that helped this dude with it they might have some awsome tips for the interior of your car.
