View Full Version : Bottom end?
Hi all
My TH magna with 210km on it. I did an oil change put 10-40 mobil synthetic. ive done about 4000 5000km on it. it could off been there before as i didnt actually try and check it. But anyways it only does this when u turn the car off. It makes this tappet kinda sound but it sounds like its coming from the bottom end. Its like a tappet gurgle kinda sound lol. Hard to explain. But is this normal.?

No issues
I have heard what I thought was a bottom end noise and it ended up being a dry alt belt. Did not believe it until the belt was changed and the noise went
Also, try Penrite HPR15, can not go wrong, if is the oil this will sure tell you

Dude your oil is way too thin for a engine with that
Many ks on it. I found nulon high milage formula works a treat. I think that was around the 15-20w range

i have 247,000 ks on the clock and use 5-30W, doesnt use a drop, litterally. although my engine has been serviced well. use the reccomended grade in the manual.
