Could you guys please post pics if you have mounted ur fuse holder in the factory battery box. Just trying to think of the nicest place to mount it.

I have the 4awg coming into the box the same as the factory leads.

Can't see how I can do it without having such a sharp bend.

I mounted it on the right-side of the battery box on the outside, it looked quite good but the cheapass fuse holder bracket snapped :(

Is this for the +12V positive running to the boot?

If so, mount the fuse within 15cm of the terminal.

He already knows this I assume, thats why he wants to mount on the battery box... he was asking where in the battery box to mount it... I see mounting inside being a problem though, might be hard to pull off. Right-side on the outside would be a better solution imo.

Didn't take any photos of it when I installed mine, but I cable tied it to the black box/bucket that the battery sits in.

Mines in the box, just fits in nicely, I'll take a photo later after work.

Cut a bit of 4ga 6" this morn, not exactly many options might have to make it longer.

a right angle fuse holder would be handy

If you that worried about putting it in the battery box, get a thin bit of aluminium and bend it to mount the fuse holder in your box. A simple right angle bend will do.

i used a bit of doubled sided tape in both my 3rd gens, they sit on the strut tower on the side and + they are wraped in the black plastic stuff to hide the cable
