Third gen front guards are interchangeable apart from the TL+ models which are a different shape.

All models from TE-TJ2, and KE-KJ2 will fit. The guard only changed between the TJ2 and TL models.

because some knob is trying to tell me that they are different and that the tj one sticks out more

The guards are all the same, from the same pressing etc etc Shell is the same, all panels are interchangeable. Thus why many use the TJ parts on the TE - H

Is a bit like when Dave Thomas tried to tell all of us that the second gen V6 was a few inches wider than the 4cyl lol

Tell your mate that what he is saying is like trying to say that a factory 7" wheel is an inch wider than an aftermarket 7" wheel :confused:
