So basically i was trying to swap over interior roof light, i did so with ease, then all of a sudden the roof light died, and the speed limiter is stuck on 60 and wont budge...Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

seems like you have blown a fuse
check over all fuses

Fuse in the engine bay box, you will find a yellow rectangular thing with 2 fuses in it, one of these is blown
You will need to lift up the yellow bit to get the fuses out as they are locked in with this and it is a bugger to get up also
This will also kill the speed alert as well.
Pulling one of those fuses also resets the ECU doesnt it?
I remember having to retrain my idle after replacing one...

You should be able to tell whether or not their blow without pulling them, the fuse wire runs where you can see it for a reason.
Check if any have a break, blown fuses will usually be slightly blackened aswell making it easier to spot.

mate you still need to pull the fuse out to check them
have you seen how small these fuses are? you need a magnifing glass just to see them

very easy, let car idle for about 15-20mins to get it idling right then take for a drive so the tranny knows when to shift (granny driving required)
should be back to normal after a few days driving

Grab a test light if you are not sure, turn on the ignotion and test each side of the fuse. If one is blown there will be juice on one side and not the other

pretty sure the ECU has its own fuse
if it didnt reset then dont worry about it

I thought it was one of the 2 fuses in the yellow block?
I remember pulling something in there and having my ECU reset :P Was a cold day and the car stalled 3 times before I could let it idle...

Edit: Lesson learnt.. Close doors before changing interior light :D
