After seeing Ricks KE with the ground effects side skirts its made me want to do the same to my verada, however I'm undecided on whether or not to put the flares on as well. I believe the rear flare will look fine as it has a subtle ending but im concerned with the front flare and its short ending without the front skirt.

Opinions needed

depends if you can get a set of flares...none left at the misi house..only pods and skirts...because the flares have nothing to blend into ,probably just put the skirts on...

Does anyone have a pic of a Verada with Flares but no GE or VRX body kit... just on standard bumpers?

I've always wondered how that would look

hmmm doesn't really flow, i think it works best with the rest of the kit

Any reason the rest of the kit can't be added?

The front 'looks' like it will fit. You'd need 2 sets of rear pods to be cut/ plastic welded together to make them fit on the rear, though.

i think the GE kit and the VRX kit require you to have Magna Bumpers to begin with, as the verada bumpers are different

Flares look like they will flow aslong as you shave the front section to end at a point were the bottom of the front guard meets the top of rear corner of the front bar.
Keep working at it cause the verada's definately need some body kit ideas.
Ya ride is lookin sweet dude!

Yeah, but having held one half of a GE front up to my own'rada, I think with a bit of work, it could be 'made' fit.

Undoubtedly, but would the cost of modifying the bar be worth the outcome?

Edit: Never mind, i am thinking of the VR-X kit.

Carry on.

shavings not a bad idea, but then it could turn out costly

someone really needs to see if a kit fits or at least some of a kit and take some photos so we know what it looks like

Are you looking to do something along these (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3233337) lines perhaps, if you cbf trying to make the front fit?

Better pic seen here (http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/MitsubishiDiamanteVRX/).

It's not actually a whole flare, it's just an end cap and a standard VRX flare. These caps where made here in Aus, so you should be able to buy them from a dealer here.

Well not 100%... but a good 95% sure. I saw a set on a car in the flesh a while back, before it was gonna get crushed. I was sposed to get the leather interior of that car, but alas... It never happened. I didn't even think about the flares, they would have been easy enough to grab at the time.

Flares will look the goods if you can extend into the front bar but from my honest opinion, flares are alot of work to put on and can usually wreck a car unless you've seen it done on the same one.
Leave yours stock if its rattling your brain, looks good as it is and will make a HUGE difference with the TL handles.
