It's hard to tell from the photos.. what kind of fabric/trim are you using?

Are you going to do the map pockets too?

I started off with a cotton fabric, but i found that it just plain sucked...so i switched to a vinal, similar to that of the door. (i thought that leather would end up flaking and be more expensive). it gives a great effect. as for the map pockets, ill be doing those after ive done all 4 door inserts.

i like it....looks really good. Are u doing the vinyl yourself? if so is it hard to get rid of ripples or folds in it?

Wanna come do mine? lol

Looks great. If you got red and black seat covers and a red and black handbrake cover that would look AWESOME!!

It's looking good, dude. In fact, you've inspired me to do the same with my car.. only it will be green and black, blue exterior.

can't wait to see the finished product :dancin:

Okay but I hope you don't go for a full bright lime green. Don't think that would look too good. Also do any of you guys know how hard it is to make/have installed custom trim around the door handles??

you know what chief, that is the next step after the doors, the seats...but those will be the most expensive, so im leaving that till last. till then ill get some seat covers to do the job.

I wouldn't mind doing the seats in my TJ, but I think i'm going to shell out for a Verada rear seat back before I do. I want the height adjustable headrests in the back!

Does someone want to write a little guide on how to do this retrimming work?

How do you get it to mould properly? Instead of sagging?

That looks really good. It is also the next thing I am going to do on mine... I would also like to see a guide on how to do it. I don't want to start it and find out there is some trick you have to know.. that would suck balls

howdee,
Did you just stretch the fabric over the door inserts without removing the old fabric first, or did you remove it and glue and staple as you went???? :D

Looks wild.

With leather, you have to buy a whole hide for a custom colour. $500+

Blue vinyl will be my friend soon. lol
