Hey,
I own a manual 99 TH Magna, bought it recently and just noticed a few problems.
Ocassionally when stopped or in neutral my cars revs will rise on their own then drop, back and forth, and increasingly so untill they drop so low at one point and the car stalls. Also more often the revs will just remain low so that the car slightly shudders, but then after about 20 seconds or so it will either start to bounce again or fix itself and the idle will sit around the normal position, shuddering stops, and no problem til I stop the car again.
I was thinking something to do with the battery or altenator, but i really dont know. You guys got any ideas?

Oh and also, I have a sound system installed but when the bass is too high, the rear-view mirror shakes and makes noise which takes away from the music a bit (also a bit hard to see out of)... is there any way to fasten it to the windscreen better or to keep it still?

My guess is the idle control solenoid /stepper motor, someone here might have the specs so you can check it with a multimeter for function

There is a fairly large thread about this somewhere

They run from the Rocker cover, back to the intake, to burn off blow-by gases.
Plus one for Steevo's reply

First thing is ..... reset the comp by disconnecting the Battery for at least 10 minutes. I had a similar problem and this fixed it. Until the Body Control module completely frogged up a year or so later.
The Bass/Mirror problem ..... I hope you take this the right way ...... your a dill even with the standard system my mirror vibrates with high volume, full bass and some Bee Gee's bass notes.
