Hmm was time to do a turbo conversion.

Power has jumped heaps. but it did add a little weight compared to the plastic vrx cover.

In all seriousness though...this is how the Y piece on my exhaust looks....

Meh, its just biffed a few things.

If it aint leaking, no dramas, it aint damaged enuff to bother the gas flow :D

Do you own the plates on paper or just happen to have the piece of metal.

Its an 8 in place of the B right?, still be worth a pretty penny.

Inside the collector there is a plate that runs back to further separate the 2 pipes inside, these come loose as are only spot welded from the top. If you have bashed it in the wrong place this can break the plate off and it will really rattle badly, especially under load.

Engine pipes are a dime a dozen at wreckers, just get a complete new one from a tidy looking car and you are good to go.

Just remember as you have the 3.5 you will one off a 3.5 as the 3.0 are shorter.
