Hi all,
Ive got a stock 05 TW and am looking to put an exhaust or muffler on it. Im looking for some decent sound, but nothing too hoonish! Any ideas on what is best- muffler or exhaust, brands to look out for. Also are they very hard to install.
Help would be appreciated. I'll try to get to the next SA meet to get some ideas.
Cheers,
Dave

1. Go to mettams or other exhaust center
2. tell them your wants
3. they'll tell you to get a 2.5" straight through sports system with a berklee muffler (if its mettams definately will) and a hotdog reso
4. tell them to do it
5. get it done
6. win
should be around 320 if i remember rightly ;)
pretty nice sound it'll have, not too loud though

Define 'hoonish'.
You are being kind of Hoonish now. - Said regarding any woman who is not typically a Hoon but is periodically exhibiting Hoon-like tendencies.

Just get a lukey or a second had VRX/Sports muffler. Also get a set of extractors (pacies or the cheaper HM Headers). Also, may want to have the rear pipe go under the rear axel centre (where it is fixed to the car body) rather than having it go over the rear axel. The AWDs have this set up.

Yeah I am getting my exhaust done soon and that's what I will be getting. After much searching it seems to be the most popular.
Along with a high flow metal cat.
Still trying to figure out if extractors will fit the budget or not... Pacemakers seem the most popular but I'm struggling to find a price on them.
If I do go the extractors root I will be taking it to Steve to get the ECU re flashed.
