Howdy, my Verada has a faulty passenger side thermo fan that wont run when the A/C is turned. I've unplugged the fan and it powers up with a 12volt supply. I've also changed/swapped the relevant relays with working ones but it still won't run. I've been told it could be the ECu computer or one of the dual speeds on the fan is at fault. Anyone got any ideas or had this problem. The engine/driver side thermo fan works fine. THANKS

Bought a secondhand engine fan from wreckers today for $22, fitted it and all is well now. The old fan was faulty, the low speed circuit not working. If you connect a 12V supply to either of the two circuit on the engine/condensor fans they should operate. If not either the low or high speed circuits is faulty and you need to replace the relevant thermo fan.

Was just going to say to buy a new one.

My KJ had the same issue when I got it, just swapped it with one from my KE before I sold it and told the buyer that the fan was buggered. Also did the same with the electric aerial and anything else that was broken on the KJ.

My fan waits until the car is almost 3/4s before it comes on without the A/C on, a mechanic told me it's just the switch at the thermo. It works for me with the A/C on so it's fine..... for now.
