My V6 94 TS has an oil leak coming from my oil filler cap on the rocker cover, is this a common problem and how do I fix it
Is there an oil breather hose somewhere on the engine
If there is a breather hose maybe it's blocked which is causing the oil to lead from the filler cap
Any help is appreciated :)

Replace the cap!! The seal around it may have broke causing the oil to spill over when hot.
the rubber around the filler cap corrodes easily. Replace the cap. Also check the PCV valve on the front bank. This is renowned for getting gunked up. Spray it with carb cleaner and also change the hoses if required. Brake line is a good substitute for the PCV piping

Also, check the hose to the PCV Valve on the front and and the hose on the rear rocker covers, they get gunked up. With the rear hose, you may find the hose has seized or gone hard to the metal elbow and will need to be cut off. I also use with the carb cleaner, long pipe cleaners, twisting 2 cleaners together gives a nice tight fit that are long enough to use in the hoses. Spray the pipe cleaers with carb cleaner and work in and out of the hoses. You can also use them on the 2 metal elbows as they get clogged.

The metal L fitting on the rear rocker cover is such a stupid design, its like 3mm wide and I can see why it clogs so easy.
on the 3000GT's they have this exact same problem. Putting 2 rubber seals in will actually give you a TIGHT fit.

PCV Valve, Look at the hose on your front rocker cover, it'll only be about 4" long, It'll go to a fiting in the lower intake manifold. this is your PCV
Undo, and clean good with carby cleaner until you can hear ball rattle
here ya go mate, highlighted in red circle. Pipe leads to inlet manifold and pumps fumes back into system. The L shaped valve itself pops out of the front rocker cover

To begin with DONT replace the cap, the seal DOES NOT corrode
The seal tends to go hard, this is a common problem. Go to mits and you will be able to get a new seal for $3.50 or so.
Do check your breathers of course but the TR/S covers can be very pedantic when it comes to the seals and leakage is very common.
Problem with a lot of after market caps is the metal tab that it tightens down on is often crap quality and the after market ones end up leaking pretty quickly
Oh and when you get the "L" shaped "valve" out of the rocker cover, make sure you have a spare as this "valve" is actually a bit of tube bronzed into the cover in the factory. The PCV valve screws into the manifold at the other end of the host. Also make sure you clean out the manifold as the PCV connects to a tube system cast in the manifold (bit hard to explain)

Mightas well ask you...But is using the 2 Seals OK? 3000GT owners do it and that solves the oil leak from cap issue right up.

If you only want to use the one seal, grab the gasket, is cheap enough and make sure the tabs on the cap are nice and straight
I have never had oil leak issues from caps and ahve also fixed many people's issues from caps by using a second hand genuine cap with a new seal
