Hi everyone, just got myself a 2006 SX 380 with mileage of 81k. Anyone know when should i do my timing belts?

Book states 100,000. That way it breaks it up between two services.
Am doing mine at 105 service which is in another 3000 kms or 5 weeks ( Belt, Back Sparkies.)

If your doing it yourself, do it now so that you know its a good one.
If your getting the dealer to do it, about 100,000 :)

Most people tend to do it over 2 services, the 92500 & 105000, makes the expense easier to manage - youll be looking at (depending on dealer) about $700 for the major service, going over 2 services is a much better option

Just check the book after collecting the car, timing belt has been done by the previous owner at 75k. Am glad it's Gates belt somemore :) Anyway am just waiting for my SVI gas conversion, $4.5k total plus dyno tune.
