PS2??? What are you driving?? A Commodore!?!?
At least put a damn XBOX in there! If that's too big; a Gamecube!
Either way, PS2 is a little too "average" for a Magna!

"average" pfffffffff PS2 just happens to have the greatest driving simulator on the planet which is soon to be out done by the next chapter in the series.....Bring on GT4! :dancin:

and.......??? How long ago did GT3 come out? and how long til GT4? HOPEFULLY by Christmas! And what till then??
Do PS2 owners just wait for a Gran Turismo to be released every 3 years? Cos i'm not sure what else there is.... And it still looks average.
LOL
:D

I think the PS2 uses a similar technology to my Coat Hanger Antenna!! Bazza, Timmo and Stevo are always tellin me how much they reckon my antenna and PS2's are sick mate, sick. And VB is a good beer too.
LOL lol

Please we all know that if you want driving games you have to go the Xbox... Project Gotham Racing 2 is by FAR the best driving game there is, and yes i have played GT3...it doesnt even compare to PGR2.

The Satin Silver Prestige line PS2s aren't average, they have a quieter disc reading mechanism, Built-in IR reciever for remote, DVD-RW/+RW playback as compared to the standard black PS2 units.

I have one and it'll be going into my car eventually, should match the interior of my car nicely. Silver VR-X steering wheel, silver Alpine headunit etc etc....

akko.

all you need to do what your doing (i didnt have alook at that webaddy- speaking from my experience) is

a) PS2
b) car screen (300 ~ 1500$)
c) 12v to 240v inverter (40 ~ 120$)
d) about 2 hours or so.

connect (a) to (b) then plug (a) into (c). that should take around (d)

=)

Happy PS2ing in the car, i use mine while waiting for my sister at school! lol

I forgive you brother, but only coz of that funky australia shaped coat hanger aerial.

Back on topic, mate of mine had his VN commy kitted out as the ultimate long distance cruiser complete with PS2 in car (this was in 2000) - he aquaplaned, rolled the car into a rivver, and lost the lot. He was watching his friends play as he drove from Adelaide to Sydney - centre console screen. Anyways he sold off the scrap and bought a series III statesman supercharged V6.

That's why in Australia you are supposed to have any screens mounted in the front of your vehicle wired to your handbrake, no?.

Id prefer the playstation.. got both.. and played a lot of games on both... but for me the playstation is better!

Actualy I want a ps2 in my car now!! sounds good for when i pick up my lil sis from high school ;) damn Mirrabooka high not having enough parking just like yours booya i have to come 10-15 minutes early..

whats this dang fangled new silver ps2 about and what makes if special?

i thought the disk reading was already quiet enough.. just that damn fan in the back is loud!

oh yeah booya ive done the whole 3 sec lookin 1 sec sms thing and its kinda.. hard to do in traffic but ok on straights.. you just chuck on cruise control, lift your legs to steer the car and use your hands to type the msg (or you could fone but thats too easy)
