got the horn etc, and a switch, (to switch it over to the old horn if i get pulled over,,..)
i dont suppose anyone has ever done this in a ts and has the know how? my ex was gonna do it for me but that aint happening now. Or if not where i can take it to get it done.. (although its illegal so doubt that will happen)

Well it depends how you want to set it up Cass.
Presumably you would want to wire up the new horn in your engine bay (with a relay), the positive relay switch wire coming up to behind your dash. You would then need to find the wire for your standard horn in all the wires behind your dash, and put the switch there so you can switch between old and new
Although now I think about it, sometimes horns are wired backwards, so you would actually have the horn with constant 12v power, and the hornpad works by actually grounding the negative wire to complete the circuit. If this is the case, then you would feed your new horn with a relay and fused 12v power, and run the negative wire up into your dash to use with the switch
If any of that didn't make sense let me know

Be really tricky and wire up one horn to one steering wheel button and the other on the other side no extra switches then. I have no idea if this will work but recently got a bunch of KR/KS stuff with 2 seperate horn buttons with a single black wire to each (just dug them out and one plugs into and piggybacks the other with a single black wire with a male bullet connector that connects to an earth presumably). Therefore if you have the brass strips under each mounting screw connected to seperate live postive wires from each horn it should work. I dont have a KS wheel so am unsure if the mounting screws go into a single brass plate connecting both sides of the wheel like older cars ie Ford XA Falcons etc. If it does this would need to be cut in half so a seperate circuit could be made for each horn. (Damn its hard trying to explain electrical wiring verbally without diagrams lol )
PS I picked up the full steering wheel mounted switch gear stalks/looms (marked in paint with KR from a wreckers I presume), airbag, horn buttons and 2 different ECUs at the same time if you ever need anything - probably all off a V6 auto KR/KS. I have pics and part nos and can email photos but am too old and IT illiterate to know how to load them up here and am not listing them F/S anyway (I'm a great buyer but a crap seller lol ).

I think Cass has an aftermarket steering wheel and therefore not the KS one with airbag and two horn buttons, I do like your thinking though, could work in my car!!!!

hook them up to the nos buttons if the aftermarket wheel supports it

Horn sounds like a train horn, really cool,.. often it makes people jump, (ex had same set up in his ts..just wish id watch him do it) :P i wanna have that effect, cause the standard one is so pissweak ****ty! sounds to hard basket anyway.. :(. The swtich would be on right hand side of dash not on the steering wheel. Theres space for a switch to be installed near the open up coin holder. Might have a look though... im sure dad will be able to help me.
All you should really need is a SPDT toggle switch. Middle tag is the wire from your steering wheel, outer tags one goes to standard horn relay and the other outer tag connects to your new horn relay setup. that way you still use your steering wheel, but use the toggle, hidden under the dash to switch from one to another. I have done this on other cars, should be very similar for TS.
