hey guys
thinking my interior needs abit of attention
currently looking for a set of black KL/W leather seats
now seeing as these are very hard to come by looks like i have to go with plan B
those fake leather seat covers you get on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/LEATHER-MAGNA-CJ-LANCER-MIRAGE-FTO-GTO-PAJERO-OUTLANDER_W0QQitemZ250376517793QQcmdZViewItemQQptZ AU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item250376517793&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

now the only thing is, what would look good?

its either go for an all black interior
or black with the centre in light grey to try and match the car
or all black with light grey stiching

may also get extra material to do door cards plus centre console lid so it all matches :D

lets us know what you think i should get

cheers rob

P.S sorry for all the threads

Black with light grey stitching would be awesome i reckon man. The black and grey two tone would be a little too much for me.

:stoopid: I think the black and light grey could look a bit cheap so i'd go the black with grey stitching

Dont like the chances. most wreckers wont sell them complete it the cars been in an accident then usually have to remove the side airbags.

haha the pink option only applys to you mike :P
it suits your "personality"

ok then enough of this pink stuff
tbh im leaning towards all black, but may consider getting it with light grey sticking to break it up abit :)
means i'll have to get a new gear boot too

Locating those is like trying to locate a diamante at the wreckers, rare as hens teeth.

just for reference you want some sort of highlight to break it up a bit. all black will make your interior seem small.

which is why i'm thinking to have light grey stiching instead of black ;)

light grey/silver would suit your car IMO. really set it off with the outside colour.

I'd go all black, would look closest to factory. Any other options (coloured stitching/inserts) would just look cheap IMO.

Also all black with the perforated insterts would probly look good and be my choice

Yes, all black would be close to factory, but they have a Logo highlight. So the Grey stitching as a highlight would look great, and help blend it with the rest of the car. Or more of a 'made for it' factory look.

lol @ me -
I meant to select All black with grey stitching but accidently selected grey centres - so please ignore my vote. :disgusted
(We need the ability to change a vote) :doubt:

thanks for the people who voted so far :D
now i am still leaning towards going all black with light grey stiching, but it would mean the gear boot would need to be replaced to match the seats and centre console lid
just got a email back from them today with some prices

The Price for :
1) Complete Front&Rear Seats Including all The Headrests in 1 Single Tone Colour = $600
2) Combination 2 Tones Colour / Combination Perforated Material Extra = $50 for all front and rear seats
3) Wrinkle Style Extra = $50 for all front and rear seats
4) Mitsubishi Logo Embossing = $50 for front and rear seats (4pcs)
5) Extra Material To Retrim All Your Door Trim Panels = $100 for all door trim panels insert
6) Centre Console Armrest (Between 2 Front Seats) = $50. It comes with nice double stitching as well.
7) Manual Gear Stick Boot (It Comes With Double Stitching As Well) = $50
8) Extra material to retrim your rear parcel shelf located behind the rear windscreen (Where the rear speakers are) = Extra $50. It can be done in matching colour with the seats.

dont need them all so im thinking getting no: 1,5,6 and 7 (will only get 7 if i get grey stiching)
dunno if its extra for different colour stiching but they havent said anything so hopefully its free :D, will ask tho

I've recently ordered those leatherish seats too. By one of their competitors on ebay. The grey stitching idea is sick, I myself am doing something similar, but with red double stitching. Show us some pics when it's all in :D.

go 2 perforated cause without contrast it will look slabby too much like a taxi but perforated makes it look a lot more sporty. i went thru the same process on friday at Blackmans  giggity!

sorry mate but i got get what your saying?
number 2 is going 2 tone, think thats what it is on there price list
just got a email back from them and its a extra 50 bucks to have the seats done in another colour (stiching)
they take 4-6 weeks to make but if i order early this week they might be finished in under 4 :D

Mr_Roberto

nar i ment option 2, the 2nd bit were it says combination perforated material extra. i think that means perforated inserts? so the seats are still all black but the middle bits have all little holes in it.

or jump the queue at blackmans, i ordered them on friday and they reckon 1 week gigity! giggity! charcoal grey leather, perforated inserts, silver double stitching and 4 tickford logo's in color! going thu a box of tissues just thinking abt them lol

ah ok i get what your saying
how much was it at blackmans?

ok worked out the prices its $750-$800 if i get black stiching
or its $850-900 if i get light grey stiching
