Just found this on eBay - it's basically the climate control unit from a 2000 Verada, I was wondering if it was possible to install into my TH Advance? Please call me noob if that is the required response :D:D

I'm pretty sure the climate control unit is identical from the KE Verada right up to the KJ SII, and all models of TJ that came with it as well. The plugs looked the same on my sisters TJ Advance from what I can remember of my KH.

I find the climate control to be more of nusinace than a convienence. Having an aftermarket headunit installed under it plays with the temp sensor because of the extra heat. The car gets too hot in the mornings and then runs the A/C at full blast in the afternoon. And it beeps at you when changing a setting, which I find anoying.
It does work really good on longer drives, say more than 20mins. Also I like the way it directs the air to where it is needed. And I like the dimistor function, very handy. I think the system would work better in the model after the TJ, where you can indvidually set each function on auto or manual.
i think the OP was asking if it was possible to convert a non-climate TJ to use KJ Climate controls...
If its anything like the 2nd gen, i know its a whole lot of stuffing around with sensors and what not

Ah you're right, sorry I missed where he said TH, my sisters TJ Advance already has climate.
Conversion has been discussed before, it can be done but it's lots of mucking around. That said I love climate control, sure it'll not really necessary but it's nice that my car just works out the best way to get the cabin to the temp I select :D

been there done it and it's not to hard if your changing a whole dash harness over,
in short you would also need the three servo motors, fan speed resistor and wiring to change it over,
