God damnit! I have two remote keys right - with one, the battery holder bit has broken off, no big deal. The second, battery was dead, got a new battery, put it in, then went to program the key but it won't do anything!

I follow the instructions but it doesn't seem to do anything... when I get to the part where I have to press a button on the remote within 5 seconds, the only button which will give me the assumed correct response from the car of the indicators flashing is the wagon/trunk button - the other buttons do nothing. Then I proceed to turn the car off and take the keys out, but none of the buttons do anything... :confused:

what am I doing wrong guys?

Nah I took it to a battery/remote place at Westfield and he checked both of them for me - one was screwed, the other was fine. Got a new battery and assumed it would be good, but apparently not!

Not sure what to try.......maybe if you know someone with the same model you could program your remote to their car and see if it works

Sadly I don't know anyone with the same car... not even anyone with a Magna! Luckily it's not an integral part of the car, it'd just be nice to have
