Hi all, very much needing new shocks. Many people reckon that the GT Gas shocks are well suited for Magnas, but does anyone know how they'll go with a car that's been lowered about 40mm? Other suggestions for lowered cars if they're not suitable? Thanks!

Mine have been great with King SL/L combo. Nice firm ride just the way i like it.

OK, good to hear, thanks. Don't mind a firm ride, current shocks are so dead sharp bumps feel like hitting a wall. I'm still on 215/60R16s anyway

Could do the trick! I have no idea how much they are worth though, haven't looked into it (will start making calls tomorrow) PM me with a price if you like.
Are they 15-0348+s or 15-0347+s?

OK, looks like I'm sorted for rear shocks, just need to find some fronts - what's the difference between 35-0409 and 35-0410 for the front? Nothing mentioned on Monroe's website, both of them are listed for both TJ and TJ Sports sedans, whereas the rears there's a different number for the TJ and TJ Sports (the 15-0348+s being for the Sports).

The reason for differernt numbers for the front pair is one is specific for L and R fitment being struts not shocks like rear. You will find the same with different numbers R 7 L for any brand I think.

NOTE: Change e@ay to what you think is correct in the links below to get them to work.

I have just put the Monroe GT Gas in my KJ AWD with 40mm lows kings springs.
I had GT Gas (non reflex) 4 years ago in another Verada and they were very hard. The new Reflex technology has softened them up a little.
Great ride, not too firm but firm enough to give you good handeling.

You will be happy with them.

Ishrub - late reply but thanks for that, the fact that it was a strut didn't come to mind.
