G'Day, Im in the process of upgrading the front brakes on my vrx. I have already bought the DBA 4000 series 294mm front rotors. I read that a couple of forum members have the same rotors. BUT one member describes that they are using 380 front calipers and one member is using Ralliart Magna front calipers.
Can someone please advise from experience in doing such an upgrade as to which one is suitable as a direct replacement/ upgrade?
I'm trying to avoid any hacking, extensive modifying to get the brakes upgraded. Thanks in advance.

the 380 and Ralliart/AWD calipers are different. I believe the diameter of the discs is the same between the 2 types but the 380 ones are a touch thicker. If you bought the 294mm rotors for twin piston magna fitment, i don't think you can use 380 calipers. This needs confirming...

380 rotors are 294mm diameter by 28mm thick where as the AWD/Ralliart rotor is 294mm diameter by 24mm thick. So pending on which rotors you have will decide which calipers you have to use.

That'd make sense, unless the pads can be moved total 4mm inward which seems unlikely.
