Hi went into mits today get some trans oil and price on a few things and i asked about the vrx II rims...
sold out as i was well expecting but the parts guy was saying that the rims don't fit all magnas even earlier tj's he said something about the rim offset not being right for SOME of the earlier magnas and that at high speed they had cases of the tyre deflecting enough to rub on the top control arm??? has anyone else heard of this before????

They will fit any model from TR - TW. He doesnt know what hes talking about.

there is a 5mm gap between the tyre and top control arm on my tj s1. Its damn close

If you want Mitsubishi 17s' and cannot find the TJ series II VR-X rims, the other rim of a similar style but thicker spoke is from the 380 Series III VR-X.

Others do not like this rim, however I do.

The 17" VR-X rims are +46 offset. I'm pretty sure that's the same offset that all the other factory mags are....
