I keep forgetting to bring this up  the two front windows have rub marks going down the middle of the glass so what is causing this. Lucky it has tint or it would be on the glass itself.
does the car have aftermarket central locking? Ive seen this a few times where people install the guns in the doors too close to the glass and after a while it makes some pretty big rub marks.

if its just slight marks that you can only see at an angle, its from dirt stuck under rubber seal rubbing as it winds up. i cleaned ALOT of crap from my ones, peeled it back and ran a rag along.

It's got Factory central looking.
There both as wide as your thumb and it's only on the old tinting hasn't gotten through to the glass and there both in the same location bang in the middle.

Got it on mine too, started after I installed my speakers, I reckon it's the rubber tube thing where the tweeter and woofer join up on my splits. Haven't had a chance to crack the door open and fix it yet.

I've got it on my TF Verada .... I reckon its something rubbing on the tint. Was going to replace the tint anyway rear is looking decidely grey and beginning to bubble. I've found the tint isn't the same quality as my TH Advance glass.

I think there is like a pad thing in the centre inside the door that presses againts the window for extra suport i guess.
A few cars i have owned had rub marks somewhere on the window, i guess all you can do is keep any rubbers/felts that touch the glass clean and make sure nothings out of place and rubbing on the glass in the door.
It would sure suck to pay $400+ on new tint and end up with rub marks all over it.

That's true and I need to find out what it is before I get my TE re-tinted.

Bingo!!!.
At the top of the door frame just the glass is a felt covered plastic window support. They need to be adjusted properly that is all.
From memory, after removing the door trim, it is a bracket adjusted with a 'Hex' key and a spanner. The bolts should be located at the top of the door frame just under the weather proofing.

How do you go about adjusting it properly or could they need replacment ?

After removing the door trim, have a look inside the top of the door with the window down. at the top of the opening you will see a small white plastic thing with white and brown felt on it, attached to a gold metal bracket, The bracket is adjustable from the outside of the metal (you will see what i mean when you remove the trim).
Place the hex key in the bolt hole and use the spanner to adjust the metal bracket in and out as you need. It should not need replacing, it is just a guide for the window winder mechanism. It is covered in felt as it is designed to come into contact with the glass. Unfortunately, if it is adjusted too far outwards, it can place pressure on the tint filament. This will create the rub mark your getting over time.
I hope this helps.

I had a look in the door by peeking into the gap and I see two of these so I looked into the online manuals and from what I get is that these things are window stoppers ? I have a feeling something has worn and needs to be replaced like maybe the felt guides maybe as when you partly open the windows they rattle a little.
